Here at D&E DJ Services we get plenty of questions on our business and services we provide. Here is a list we put together to answer the most common questions we get.

Services & Style

How would you define your “style” or approach to providing DJ entertainment?

I am very passionate when it comes to music and providing entertainment though music. I am a people person and get along with everyone and I wont lie I love to have a great time as everyone else does. When I DJ I love to see smileing faces and everyone having a great time, I am one to work the dance floor until I see everyone like that, smailing and having a great time.

How do you dress for an event?

I wear a suit for all the weddings that I do. I always consult my couples if there will be something else they would like me to wear. My assistant for helping with equipment and the photography booth wears a formal dress.

When do you arrive to set up for an event?

I always arrive 2 hours before the event to set up equipment and consult with the other vendors at the event for timing purposes.

How much do you charge?

Are you insured?

Yes we are insured through insurance canopy.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use a Numark mix track platinum DJ board, that controls virtual DJ on a dell micro PC. I run to a QSC high powered amplifier and use 2 dual 15 inch Carvin speakers to output the music

Will you bring an assistant?

Yes I always have an assistant with me to help with the photography booth, multi setups, and organization.

Do you use “old school” vinyl turntables to DJ events?

I do not I use new digital technology for all my events

How do you mix the music?

As a DJ you have to be able to mix music the ne DJ controllers are very good at helping you with this process. I also do custom edits for couples and have a degree in music production

Do you offer additional services, such as lighting and photobooths?

We do offer photo booths, monogram projection, up lighting, custom song edits, ceremony audio dance floor lighting and add on bass bins

Music Selection

How involved can we be in selecting music for our event?

I love to have people involved in the music selection process. We use an online event planner that allows the hosts of event request songs as well as a separate guest request list. I am always willing to work with the customers so they get the exact music they want at there event.

How involved are you in helping us to plan our music?

I am fully involved with the music planning process. I will make many suggestions on music to help you choose and will help you find the perfect song for each part of your event.

I don’t want the music at my wedding to be traditional wedding music. Can you do that?

Yes I can work with you to get the perfect music for your wedding my music library has over 9000 songs and grows every day. If I don’t have the music you want and I cant find it in the record pools I will purchase it for your wedding
